Catering Contract

Section I: Hors d’Oeuvres

  • Self Service Presentation: included with Buffet and Plated service

    • Self-service hors d’oeuvres presentation included with all service styles

    • Paper plates, cocktail napkins

  • Served Hors d’Oeuvres: included with Plated service (available as upgrade to Buffet- see Section VI)

    • Choice of 3 selections

    • Cocktail napkins

Section II: Wedding Dinner Service Options: Buffet or Plated (See Section VI for Pricing)
Dinner services include: two entrees, two sides, salad, bread, coffee/tea, with stainless flatware, white linen napkins and tablecloths

    • Served from buffet on bamboo plates

    • Self-service hors d’oeuvre presentation

  • Plated dinner

    • Served to tables on china plates

    • Self-service hors d’oeuvres presentation

    • 3 served hors d’oeuvres

Section III: Timing of Catering Service

  • 1 Hour: Hors d’Oeuvres Service

  • 1/2 Hour: Plated Salads at Table Settings

  • 1 Hour: Dinner Service

  • 1/2 Hour coffee/tea and choice of dessert or cake

Section IV: Menu Selection & Tasting

  • Menu Tasting: Tastings are offered as a service to confirmed catering clients. All tastings are conducted at Full Moon Resort on specified days twice per year. The tasting offers the opportunity to sample the wedding couple's selected menu and consult with the Executive Chef and Service Manager.

  • Final Menu Selections must be submitted within’ 7 days following tasting

Section V: Service Summary

  • Staff Parameters:

    • (1) Catering Event Manager

    • (2) Servers, (1) Busser (NOTE: Add (1) Server for each additional (50)ppl over 100)

    • Kitchen Staff (As needed based on menu)

  • Logistics

    • Catering Event Manager will provide detailed Catering Consultation to ensure every detail of catering logistics are clearly identified and carefully planned

    • The Catering Event Manager will collaborate with the venue’s facility manager on all catering aspects of the event.

Section VI: Pricing, Terms & Upgrades | 2022

  • Pricing & Terms

    • Wedding Catering Price:

      • Plated Service: $120 (includes china plates, self-service and served Hors d’ Oeuvres)

      • Buffet: $85 (includes bamboo plates and self-service Hors d’ Oeuvres)

    • Children

      • Under 12yrs $45

      • Under 5yrs are free

    • Terms

      • Attendance: 50 Adult minimum guest count

      • Prices do not include 8% sales tax and gratuity

  • Optional Buffet Upgrades

    • Served Hors d’Oeuvres with choice of 3 selections: $12/pp

    • China Plates $4/pp

  • Additional Upgrades

    • Vendor Dinner $35/pp

    • Beverage Package (Iced tea/lemonade) $5/pp

    • Additional Served Hors d’Oeuvres $5/pp per item

    • Additional Sides $4.50/pp

    • Custom Cake, Baking or Dessert (Includes plating and paper plate)

      • Custom Wedding Cake $5/pp

      • Cake Plating for Non-FMR Cake $3/pp

Section VII: Guest Counts

  • Minimum guaranteed guest count must be submitted with executed Menu Selection Form

  • Final Guest Count (including specific entree counts) must be submitted no later than 45 days in advance. The wedding couple must be included in the Final Counts

  • This contract includes complimentary "Special Dietary Entree" for up to 15% of total guest list

  • After Final Count is submitted, credits will not be offered for reductions

Section VIII: Final Bill (After receiving Final Guest Counts, a Final Bill will be submitted for the balance of charges due)

  • Reductions: Credits will not be offered for reductions in Final Guest Count

  • Overages: Attendance above submitted guest count will be billed at listed rates

Section IX: Deposits & Payments

  • Payment Method:

    • Credit cards are not accepted.

    • Personal Checks are accepted for deposits.

    • Final Bill (see above) must be paid by cash or certified check.

  • Deposits: Upon approval of the terms herein, please send a deposit of $2,500 to: Full Moon Resort, 1 Valley View Rd., Big Indian, NY 12410.

  • Final payment must be received at least (14) days in advance of the event.

Section X: Cancellation of Event

  • It is understood that, should Full Moon Resort find it necessary to cancel this event, liability will be limited to a refund of any applicable deposits.

  • It is understood that should the Wedding Couple find it necessary to cancel this event, any and all deposits are non-refundable.

  • NOTE: Full Moon suggests Wedding Event Insurance

Section XI: Policies

  • Vendor Meals

    • Dinner for musicians, photographers, wedding officials etc., will be served 15 minutes prior and in an alternate location from the wedding dinner.

    • If any vendors are invited guests, the full guest rate will apply.

  • Wedding Ceremony & Event Planning:

    • Full Moon is not involved in any aspect of the wedding ceremony or details of event planning (table charts, seating arrangements, decorations, etc)

    • Couples are required to have their own Event Planner

  • Catering Equipment: This contract does not include any equipment other than that which is listed above (for example: tables, chairs, or other required catering equipment)
